GEOGRAPHIC REGION
KRREA covers the eastern Kootenay Rockies region. It extends from the Town of Golden in the north and Columbia Shuswap Regional District Area A to the City of Cranbrook and the US border in the south including all areas of the Regional District of East Kootenay; east from the District of Elkford and the Alberta border, west to the Town of Creston and the eastern areas of the Regional District of Central Kootenay (east of Kootenay Lake).
KRREA is pleased to announce that they have now completed their work on their Foundations of Our Economy project. Jamie Vann Struth of Vann Struth Consulting and Eric Vance of Eric Vance & Associates are in the process of completing their final report. The report will include an action plan for KRREA which will enhance their work as a regional body working to enhance and sustain the economy in the East Kootenay. This project has been funded by the Government of Canada and KRREA.
KRREA will be posting the final report on line upon its completion.
